The Acer palmatum ‘Kamagata’ is a drought-hardy upright dwarf Japanese Maple valued for its resilience and distinctive foliage habit. Originally named and propagated by J.D. Vertrees, this cultivar carries both heritage and character, making it a refined addition to any garden.
‘Kamagata’ is admired for its delicately hanging leaves, which create a soft, drooping effect that adds movement and elegance to its compact upright form.
